Dibutyl Phthalate uses
1.Plasticizer. It has strong solubility in a variety of resins. It is mainly used for PVC processing
and can give products good softness. Because of its relatively low price and good processability,
it is widely used in China, almost equivalent to DOP.
2.Dibutyl phthalate is excellent plasticizing and strong gel ability of nitrocellulose. It is used for
nitrocellulose coating and has good softening effect. Excellent stability, flexural resistance,
adhesion and waterproof.
3.Dibutyl phthalate is used as plasticizer for polyvinyl acetate, alkyd resin, ethyl cellulose and
neoprene.
4.Dibutyl phthalate can be used in the manufacture of paints, adhesives, artificial leather, printing
inks, safety glass, celluloid, dyes, pesticides, spices, solvents, fabric lubricants, etc.
